A height increase request for the Legends Tower, which will become the tallest building in the United States, has recently received aprovação in the city of Oklahoma thereby allowing the project to proceed to its next stage of development. The approval was granted by the Oklahoma City Planning Commission to this upcoming proposed supertall skyscraper in the United States.

A votação final do projeto está prevista para a Câmara Municipal no mês de junho, conforme revelou a Matteson Capital. Após a conclusão, a torre será a mais alta dos Estados Unidos e a quinta mais alta do mundo.

The Legends Tower project is part of a wider mixed-use development, The Boardwalk at Bricktown. The development comprises of a total of three approved towers with a height of 105 meters that will be situated at the base of the super tall skyscraper, which will be housing the retail spaces.
Earlier in the month of March, Legends Tower secured a $1.5 billion funding that will be utilized for the development of the skyscraper alongside the three small towers that will be surrounding it. This information was brought to light by a local news outlet, Oklahoman. The construction of the tower may kick off in the month of September after a building permit has been secured by its developers. The building will consist of hotels, residential units, and even commercial spaces.
